Why Cladify

Cladify Manufacturing

Automated Manufacturing

Cladify's advanced multi-facing architectural cladding panels showcase a sophisticated manufacturing process, characterized by a fully automated and certified production line. This guarantees a reliable supply of safety-tested, multi-facing cladding products. Cladify employs an intricate production methodology that optimizes the design, construction, and integration of building envelope solutions.

At the heart of our operations lies a state-of-the-art manufacturing plant, meticulously designed to fabricate highly intricate laminated facade components in an extensive range of configurations. These production lines seamlessly blend the creation of facade elements with cutting-edge technology. Collaborating seamlessly, these lines decipher, strategize, supervise, and deliver the distinct architectural concepts that our clients desire.

Our extensive network of material suppliers coupled with our advanced manufacturing process allows us to create the ideal panel product to meet or exceed your needs.

Stone Processing

Raw materials such as natural stone are purchased as blocks from more than 100 quarries from around the world. These blocks are shipped to our stone block material processing facility, and sawn into slabs using a multi-blade gang saw or muliti-wire saw, depending on the stone type. The slabs are then transferred to our state-of-the-art processing facility for calibration of thickness and lamination on to the underlying core wafer using our fully automated fabrication line. The laminated panels are then transferred to our fully automated cutting line for final sizing, and for additional processing such as building out corners and folds using specialized assembly techniques, or doing cut outs, polishing, honing, and brushing using mechanical means (water jets, CNC machines, and other processes).

Porcelain Processing

Porcelain manufacturing starts with the mixing of mineral powders (such as feldspar, clay, silica sand, and other materials). The mixture is dehydrated and sent to the press to be compressed into sheets. They are then cindered in ovens at temperatures of 1200-1400°C. Depending on the style required, the pattern and colours can be imbedded into the porcelain, or printed on the surface. Most of the porcelains undergo glazing as the final step, before integration into cladding panels.

Flat Glass Processing

The glass that we use on our panels is made from sand, soda ash and other materials using a Float Glass process... where molten glass is laid (floated) on top of a layer of tin. It is then slowly cooled, and becomes very flat. Ceramic frits are then printed on top of the glass to give it colour. The finished glass is then incorporated into the panel on our fabrication and cutting lines. Solar glass, used on top of our photovoltaic cells, undergoes additional processes such as chemical or mechanical treatments.

Other Surface Material Processing

Other raw (surface) materials are also processed and finished at our manufacturing facility. The processing and machinery employed are unique to the surface material being processed (whether brick or PVDF thermoplastic coating). Our diverse manufacturing technologies allow us to process these materials in an efficient and cost effect manner, while providing an exceptional level of quality control.
